Graduate Student Trainees (Masters')

Impart training fellowships are available to qualified graduate students who:
  • are  passionate about advancing knowledge, practice and policy in the area of addictions in girls and women.
  • have previous research experience in womens' addictions.
  • demonstrate recent employment experience in  research, programs, services or policy in this field
  • have scholarly publications (applies to graduate student trainees and post doctoral fellows)
  • demonstrate expertise in the area of gender, women and addictions
  • are commit ted to pursuing research in relation to gender, women and addictions
  • meet the requirements of graduate studies and their own departmental program
  • have a supervisor willing to participate in Impart
  • meet the CIHR Grants and Awards requirements

Prospective trainees may submit their application to the department of choice through UBC Graduate Studies and an application to Impart at the same time. Acceptance into Impart is contingent upon acceptance into Graduate Studies.
