Martha Donnelly, MD, CCFP, FRCPC, PhD, RN
Dr. Donnelly is an Assistant Professor with the UBC Department of Family Practice and Department of Psychiatry in geriatrics. She is interested in personhood in dementia and in particular incompetency issues and caregiver assessments of competency. As the leader of Care for Elders at UBC she has been responsible for overseeing the development of 15 interdisciplinary educational modules which are case based on geriatric care and has taught in a interdisciplinary course on aging. She has been president of the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry and is in charge of the training subcommittee for the National Initiative for Care for Elders.
