Josie Geller, PhD, RPysch

Dr. Josie Geller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of British Columbia, Director of Research in the Eating Disorders Program at St. Paul's Hospital, Michael Smith Senior Scholar, and practicing psychologist in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her clinical and research interests focus on applications of readiness and motivation models to the assessment and treatment of eating disorders, and she has expanded her work to other populations, including individuals living with HIV. She is currently supported by numerous grants including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. She has published extensively and is an internationally renowned speaker.
